Alex picked out this darling Easter Basket at Target last night...not that we really needed another one, but it is cute. (Hello Kitty Bunny) She wore it like this around the entire store! Pretty cute stuff!!!

Easter 2008Well, Alexandra went to her 1st Medieval Fair on Friday night.
We couldn't avoid it as it is right by her school. We had seen the tents going up each day, all week long and it was pretty much unavoidable. On Friday morning, as we were headed out the door, she asked me why I had my bags. I told her that we were going to school and the office...she burst into tears as she thought we were going to the Fair. So we met Billie after work to take part in the freak show that it is. We have both been there and done that, but you know how that goes...
Here is a little video from the pony ride. She jumped in the inflatable castle and ate pizza, funnel cake, popcorn, etc. I must say that we had a dinner of champions, but we did have a fun time just walking around and taking in everything.
Spring is in the air at our house! Alex and I are so looking forward to getting out and working in the yard tomorrow. We have some plans and we are ready to get started! Last night we worked on this Spring picture. I had her think of things and words that make her think of Spring. This is what we came up with...you can tell the girl is from Oklahoma. She thinks snow is part of Spring. Cracked me up - and I didn't argue with her about it! As I have mentioned, Alex and Billie will start t-ball in a couple of weeks. Alex has had a bat and tee since she could pretty much walk. So she is fairly good at batting. She will only bat left handed -which Billie finds absolutely awesome.
Here is a little video of what showed up in our backyard a couple of weeks ago. As you will see...we need a little practice on this thing (I don't even know what it is called.) I sure got a kick out of it!
Don't think we'll be getting any recruiting calls from Coach Gasso or Coach Walton anytime soon!
