My 1st Blog!

So, I have followed a few blogs over the last couple of months and have finally decided to give this a try. A couple of weeks ago, I had lunch with Sam (Rhoten) Walton and Shea (Merklin) Adamson. Sam was talking about how she doesn't feel bad putting things on the blog...because you aren't bragging if you are blogging. People have to want to go and look at what you have posted. It is a funny way to put it, but so true. I have tried to get into Myspace and Facebook, but I just am not interested in asking someone to be my friend along with trying to keep the page updated, etc.

So this may be a fun way to keep friends and family up to date on our crazy little family. I also thought it might be a fun way to show everyone all the fun (and sometimes hilarious) video that I get of Alex. For those of you that don't know her personally...she can be a real hoot. Her teachers tell us that they have never had one quite like her. Go figure - with Billie and I as her parents! HA!
