I took Alex to the brand new splash pad in Norman this afternoon. It opened yesterday and will stay open each weekend in September before closing. The best part of the new splash pad is the location...1.0 miles from my drive way to the park. (and a covered, shaded area for mom to sit!) Happy Labor Day Weekend!

It still amazes me to see these in Oklahoma, from what i'd seen they were mainly a metropolitan area mainstay, though a good idea for everyone.
