Thrisis Thursday

It has been a while since I have felt my last "thrisis."

With my birthday money, I got some hair extensions. I did this for two reasons...it made my hair a little longer and it added color to hide the *gray* without coloring. They lasted ONE week to the day before they started sliding out. Went back for repair work, she said it was common to "shed" some after having them put in. (they are attached by beads, not glue) One week later and it began again. So on Tuesday night I had Billie get the pliers and remove what were left. Money well spent, huh?

Last night I did a box color...it is so-so. Billie says you can't see the gray...that it looks blonde. I am sure that is true, but I KNOW IT IS THERE!

We are working on getting our Christmas decorations up also. I decided that since we never get any Christmas cards, I am going to send New Years cards this year. BUT only to those who send me a Christmas card. I always spend quite a bit of money and time doing them...and never get many in return. So, if you would like a card from the McGinnis Family...our address is:

Billie, Candace & Alexandra McGinnis
1918 Oakhollow Dr.
Norman, OK 73071

Blog ya later! (Aren't you thinking bitch, bitch, bitch right now?)

No...I feel ya! I have LOTS of grey hair that I now have to cover with many highlights. I just want to go back to the nice brown hair I once had, but never again---without having to touchup every 2 weeks.
I've cried twice today. Why? I lost a tennis match today on ladies' playday. How dumb is that? I've burnt two rounds of chicken in two days. I kicked a kid in the nose yesterday (accident) while playing soccer. All because I don't have any flexibility AND because I can't play soccer well. But apparently I thought I could. I can't remember ANYTHING, and I'm only 34...I, too, am jumping on the "Thrisis Thursday" bandwagon!
But last thing...you got a pic of you with those extensions? Would LOVE to see that! Bet it was cute!

I'm with Sam...I want to see a picture. I've thought about extensions but my hair is sooooo thin I don't think it would work. I can totally imagine Billie sitting there with a pair of pliers working on your hair...that is good stuff!

I know what you mean about the Christmas cards. I think I sent out over 60 last year and got about 30. I'm hoping for a better rate of return this year!!

You are hilarious! I contemplated sending Christmas cards this year too! You have actually figured out a very smart way of doing it...you'll have all the addresses you need from the Christmas cards you receive...nice!
